Report: 'Weak' Performances In Canada Bring Down METALLICA's 'Monster' Per-Screen Average

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the second weekend of the METALLICA documentary, "Metallica: Some Kind of Monster" (IFC Films) played to an estimated $124,984 in 23 theaters, up 20 from a week ago, averaging $5,434 per theater. The overall per-theater average was brought down by weak performances in Canada, as the U.S. per-theater average was double its Canadian counterpart. The documentary has grossed $195,567 so far.
